Seneca Wallace to Kick Off the Iowa Games

Former Iowa State University and NFL quarterback, Seneca Wallace will be present, as keynote speaker, at the Opening Ceremony for the 2015 Summer Iowa Games. The ceremony will officially kick-off on Friday, July 17 at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames.

The cost is free for athletes and coaches participating in the Games. Ages 13 and above will cost $5, while ages 12 and below will cost $2. All proceeds will benefit the Iowa Food Bank Association.

The Ceremony will consist of a parade of athletes, performances, arrival and lighting of the torch and cauldron, and fireworks will conclude. Before the Ceremony, is the Athlete Jamboree. The Jamboree will have the Food & Family Fair, activity zones, and entertainment.

Seneca Wallace will also be at the Jamboree between 6-7 p.m. signing autographs. The event is free and open to the public from 5-7:30 p.m.
