MARION (KWWL) -

A KGAN weather anchor is out of the hospital after a crash that killed a Cedar Rapids woman over the weekend.

KGAN posted on their Facebook page that Justin Roberts was released from the hospital Monday morning.

The station said in the post they "hope to welcome him back" to work "in a few weeks."

PREVIOUS STORY:

Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed one person and injured another.

It happened in the 3000 block of Highway 100 in Marion.

The 19-year-old driver has died from her injuries.

 The victim's grandmother, Joan Adams, confirms to KWWL that 19-year-old Zoee Norton was the driver of the car.

She told KWWL's Justin Andrews that Norton was on her way to work.

Adams said Norton was an artistic woman who loved drawing.

One of two people seriously injured in the crash is KGAN Weather Anchor Justin Roberts.

Roberts said on his Facebook page that he is sore, but alive.  He suffered a broken hand and fractured sternum, along with some seat belt burns.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash, injuring two people.   It happened in the 3000 block of Highway 100 in Marion.

Police say one vehicle lost control, slid across the center median, and was struck by the other.

One of the drivers, a 19-year-old female, was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.  The other driver's injuries are not as severe.

Their names have not been released at this time.
