CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

One driver is in the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in downtown Cedar Rapids.

According to Cedar Rapids Police, the cause of the crash was when one vehicle didn't yield to another. They didn't specify which vehicle failed to yield.

The driver of the white vehicle walked away from the crash with a few scratches.

The driver of the black vehicle that rolled on its side was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police and a relative on scene told KWWL the woman driving the black vehicle was trapped, and it took more than an hour for rescuers to free her.
