Memorial Ride & Drive for Elizabeth & Lyric Saturday

The 3rd annual Ride & Drive, in memory of Elizabeth Collins and Lyric Cook, is set for this Saturday morning, July 11.  
The event will start again this year at Lofty's in Evansdale, and organizers say all bikes & vehicles are welcome.  Register at Lofty's.
The annual fundraiser features several great stops along the route, including Wolfey's Wapsi Outback in Quasqueton, Wolfey's Hoptown in Hopkinton,The Alibi in Lamont, and ending in Screaming Eagle American Bar and Grill downtown Waterloo. 
Here is the Saturday evening schedule as the riders and bikers make their way The Screaming Eagle. 
Opening band will start at 6. 
Raffle and 50/50 will be drawn between 7-8.
National headliner Bobaflex will follow the rafffle. 

Ride, one shirt, one entrance to concert $20
Pending availability, additional shirts will be $20 each
Concert entrance only $10

Someone abducted Lyric Cook and Elizabeth Collins of Evansdale on July 13 of 2012. Hunters later found their bodies in December in the 7 Bridges Park in Bremer County. No one has been arrested in the case. Money raised at the Ride & Drive fundraiser is split equally between Cedar Valley Crimestoppers and Angels Park Memorial Island of Evansdale.
