MasterCard says this fall they plan on experimenting with facial recognition software as a means of password protection.
In the test, shoppers will be asked to hold up their phone and blink during the checkout phase at an online store.
This move is part of the company's plan to eliminate passwords and replace them with biometric scans and voice recognition to verify identities.
Just 500 people will get to test out the new feature, and the company hasn't announced when the feature will be released to the public.
