Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump finds himself in hot water after comments he recently made, resulting in Univision cutting ties with Trump.
During his campaign announcement, Trump made claims immigrants from Mexico bring drugs, crime and rapists into the country. He also said some immigrants were good people.
Now, Univision is cutting all ties with Trump. The company is canceling its telecast of the Miss USA Pageant, of which Trump is part owner.
"We're having people coming in through the border who are not people who we want and frankly they're not people that Mexico and other countries. I talk about other countries - I talk all over South America, Latin America. I talk all over the world. We're going to have terrorists coming in through the border. We have no protection. Mexico is taking advantage of us and so are many other countries."
However, in other statements, Trump has said he loves the people of Mexico; he says he could have a better relationship with the country than the U.S. currently has.
NBC issued this statement:
"Donald Trump's opinions do not represent those of NBC, and we do not agree with his positions on a number of issues, including his recent comments on immigration."
Leslie Hospitality owner Edwin Leslie says he doesn't have anything to hide, and to prove it he invited the public to view all of the documents, emails, agreements, and financial statements related to the deal at a public meeting this morning.
