DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

The National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium will be debuting its newest film July 3: Robots 3D.

The film from National Geographic Studios is narrated by Simon Pegg, and gives audiences an inside look at just how hard it is to mimic what humans do, as well as what it means to be a humanoid.

The 40-minute, giant screen experience brings audiences a tour to meet a dozen of the most remarkable robots in Europe, Japan and the U.S. From Robonaut, the first space robot handyman, to robot butlers and home helper humanoids to eerily human-looking androids to remarkable rescue robots, the film showcases the latest cutting edge efforts—as well as the challenges—driving roboticists, engineers and scientists around the globe to new breakthroughs.
