DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

The Dubuque Regional Humane Society was awarded two grants recently to buy a network server, computers and related equipment.

One grant came from the Dubuque Racing Association for $5,000 and the other from McDonough Foundation for $7,500.

“Our technological infrastructure currently consists of standalone computers and printers,” said Maria Benham, President and CEO in a press release. “Thanks to the DRA and the McDonough Foundation, this new equipment will significantly increase staff uptime and productivity which will enable us to provide better customer service. Most importantly, staff will be able to spend more time caring for the animals that we serve."

For more information, contact Maria Benham at 563-582-6766, or Ann Lorenz at 563-556-5324.
