T.J. Otzelberger didn't get Iowa State's head coaching job, but it appears the assistant will remain with the Cyclones.

According to a report from CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, new head coach Steve Prohm will retain Otzelberger for the upcoming season. Otzelberger is in his second stint with the Cyclones. He spent the past 2 seasons at Washington before coming back to Ames in April.

According to the report, Daniyal Robinson, a former Cyclone assistant under Greg McDermott, will also join Prohm's staff. Robinson comes back to Ames from Loyola (Chicago) where he coached the last 2 seasons.

Current Iowa State assistant coach Cornell Mann has been told he will not be retained according to Ames Tribune writer Travis Hines.
