Lunched for bereaved to help cop, support

Posted: Updated:

Anyone experiencing a loss of a friend or family member, the Iowa City Hospice wants to help you.

The Iowa City Hospice is hosting a lunch for bereaved individuals to connect with other bereaved.

Many people who are struggling with grief and loss find it helpful to have social outlets, such as this luncheon, where support is available.

The luncheon provides an opportunity for bereaved to meet one another and share common experiences.

We have tables reserved especially for this group and you will be greeted by Iowa City Hospice staff. This luncheon is ongoing, meeting every other month.

The Farmer's Diner offers a wide variety of delicious and affordable meals.

The lunch will be June 25, 2015, at The Farmer's Diner, 2300 Park Ave, Muscatine, IA at 11:30am.

For more information and to RSVP please contact Donita Hermsen, Bereavement Counselor, at 319-688-4206 or by e-mail at
