Showers, storms tracking through; flooding possible

Scattered showers and storms in the forecast today as a cold front tracks east across the state.

The severe weather threat remains low with any storms. However, the humidity is high across the state. Any storms could produce over an 1" of rainfall in a short amount of time. Some urban flooding may be possible in some of these stronger storms. Highs today will be in the 70s. Winds will be from a southwest direction then switch to the north at 5-15 mph behind the front. A few showers/storms could linger this evening but most of the area will see clearing skies tonight. Lows will be around 60 with a north wind up to 10 mph. Less humid and more sunshine is expected for Tuesday. Highs will be around 80 Tuesday with an east/northeast wind at 5-10 mph.
