WATERLOO (KWWL) -

An autopsy was completed Monday in the death investigation of Gracie Buss.

Four-year-old Buss was found unresponsive in her apartment more than a week ago. She died at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Some say it wasn't an accident.

The autopsy was completed at the UIHC where Buss died last week, but it may be six to eight weeks before we know what examiners learned.

While the Waterloo Police cars are gone, police tape is now up at the apartment off of Downing Court. That's where emergency crews found Buss unresponsive.

The investigation continues though into how Buss died. Family members say her injuries were intentional, but police won't confirm what led to her death.

KWWL also uncovered another search warrant had been issued against Buss's mother, Kristi Buss, in this case.

In total, three search warrants have been issued against Buss's mother and one against Buss's live-in boyfriend, Chad Little.
