GRUNDY COUNTY (KWWL) -

A Dike man was injured after the tractor he was driving rolled over when a minivan crashed into it.

The Grundy County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called to County Road D-19, about a mile-and-a-half west of Dike, at around 11:10 a.m. Friday.

They say 25-year-old Lucas Kitelineger of Cedar Rapids was driving his minivan west on D-19 when he looked down at his cell phone and crashed into the back of tractor pulling a mower driven by 26-year-old Wayne Schott of Dike.

The tractor rolled over and Schott was thrown from it.

He was taken to Sartori Memorial Hospital. There is no word on the extent of his injuries.

Kitelinger is charged with failure to maintain control.
