WATERLOO (KWWL) -

The Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum is looking for parade participants for a welcome home parade to honor Vietnam War veterans.

The museum will hold the parade on Friday, July 17 at 6 p.m. in downtown Waterloo as part of the National Commemoration of the Vietnam War.

Jacquie Colvin, Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designer for the Grout Museum District, says they want to give "these brave men and women the warm welcome home that they never received."

Registration forms for the parade can be found at www.gmdistrict.org/welcomehomeparade. They are due by June 30. Veterans who wish to walk in the parade are free, veteran's organizations are $15 and other businesses are $25.

The Iowa Veterans Museum's new exhibit, "365 & Counting: Iowan's in the Vietnam War" opens July 16.
