A Dubuque church saw a large turnout for its Bless the Bikers ceremony in which a reverend prays for riders.

Last year's event drew around 40 motorcycle, bicycle and tricycle riders, the Telegraph Herald reported. This year, there were around 75 bikers and the Rev. Tom Shinkle of the Grand View United Methodist Church prayed with each person.

Shinkle says he plans on continuing the event next year and hopes that it will grow in size.

Joie Booth, her husband and her two sons have attended the ceremony both years. She says it's "great (to have) any help you can get out there on the road."
