BLACK HAWK COUNTY (KWWL) - Black Hawk County Sheriff Deputies were called to an accident Saturday morning in which the drivers were injured.

A little after 10 a.m., deputies responded to the intersection of Highway 297 and Dubuque Rd.

On arrival, they found two vehicles in the middle of the intersection. Both drivers were being treated by Raymond First Responders who were already on scene.

After further investigating, it was found that a Jeep driven by Patsy Kerr, 67, of Raymond was traveling northbound on Highway 297, and failed to yield. Kerr's Jeep then collided with a Chrysler Sebring, driven by Kathaleen Graham, 69, of Waterloo. Graham was traveling eastbound when her car was struck.

According to the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office, both drivers were transported to Covenant Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
