Public input needed on inorganic chemical production company's permit

Based on public requests, the DNR is seeking input on renewing Climax Molybdenum's existing air quality permit for its Fort Madison inorganic chemical production company. The DNR issued a draft Title V operating permit after reviewing an application showing the facility meets all federal and state air quality requirements.The public can comment on permit requirements from 5 to 7 p.m., June 9, at McAleer Hall, 415 11th St. in Fort Madison. The DNR will summarize and consider comments from the public hearing before making a final decision on renewing the permit.
