WATERLOO (KWWL) -

If you're looking for an inexpensive way to microchip your pet, the Cedar Bend Humane Society will be hosting a Microchip Your Pet week starting Tuesday, June 9.

Those services normally cost $35, but the price will be reduced to $15 plus tax.

You don't need an appointment, and each pet will go home with a  goody bag.

The CBHS is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. that week, and it's located at 1166 West Airline Highway in Waterloo.

This week is part of a campaign to microchip 1,000 animals in 2015.

For more information, please call 319-232-6887.
