WASHINGTON (AP) -- A spokesman for Rick Santorum says the former Pennsylvania senator is running for president.
Spokesman Matt Beynon confirmed Wednesday morning that Santorum will enter the Republican race at an event later in the day near his western Pennsylvania hometown.
