Sixth-seeded Indiana's offense erupted for nine runs early to hand the 15th-ranked and second-seeded University of Iowa baseball team a 10-2 loss in an elimination game Friday at the Big Ten Tournament at Target Field. The Hoosiers scored nine runs on 10 hits over the first four innings and finished with 10 runs on 13 hits in game. Indiana roughed up Iowa starter Calvin Mathews (5-3), as the right-hander allowed seven runs (five earned) on seven hits in just 2 1/3 innings.
