WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Authorities say a suspect in a police chase was injured after jumping from a moving vehicle.

Police were looking for 30-year-old David Sailor, who had several warrants for his arrest.  Officers pulled over a vehicle early Wednesday morning, but it sped away as police approached the car.

Authorities say the vehicle later slowed down and Sailor jumped out as it was moving.  Police were able to catch Sailor, but he did not go with officers willingly.  Police had to tase him to take him into custody.

Sailor was treated for minor injuries from jumping out of the car - and is charged for interference with official acts along with several arrest warrants.

The car's driver, 21-year-old Ajla Mujakic was also taken into custody and charged with interference with official acts and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. Additional charges are pending.
