CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - 83 veterans are on an Eastern Iowa Honor Flight based out of Cedar Rapids on Tuesday.

Eight veterans fought in World War II.

This is the second flight put on by the Cedar Rapids organization this year, and the 20th flight since the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight started in 2009.

Veterans are expected to return to the Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Parking is free for anyone who wants to welcome veterans home.
