Coe College women's basketball Head Coach Randi (Peterson) Henderson has resigned. .Henderson has accepted a job as assistant coach at NCAA Division I North Carolina-Charlotte. Henderson will be reunited with former University of Iowa teammate Cara Consuegra, who is entering her fifth year as head coach.
Henderson is a former Cedar Falls Basketball star.  She is a two-time Iowa Conference Coach of the Year (2010 & 2011), Henderson led the Kohawks to two Iowa Conference women's basketball titles. The Kohawks also won the Iowa Conference Tournament Titles in 2011 and 2012, advancing to at least the second round of the NCAA Tournament in both years. Coe's 2010-11 squad set the school record with 26 wins, as they advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.

Henderson compiled a 155-91 record in nine seasons at Coe. Her 155 wins are the most wins by a basketball coach at Coe, male or female.
