The Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control shelter will be closed to the public Monday, May 18 through Wednesday, May 20 for floor repairs.  Adoptions and Dog Park Permit sales will resume on Thursday, May 21 at noon.

To make arrangements to reclaim a lost dog or drop off a found pet, call the shelter at 319-286-5993.  Special deals on dog adoptions will begin Thursday, May 21 through the weekend.  Adoptions will be $50 for all spayed and neutered dogs, and $25 for spayed and neutered cats.

“We appreciate everyone's understanding and cooperation during this time,” said Diane Webber, Program Manager for the shelter.  “When we reopen on Thursday, we'll be offering adoption specials as our way of saying thank you.”

The shelter is located at 900 76th Avenue Drive SW in Cedar Rapids.
