BLACK HAWK COUNTY (KWWL) -

Two people were hospitalized after two trucks collided at the intersection of West Dunkerton and Wagner Roads in Black Hawk County Friday.

Crews were called to the intersection at around 12:30 p.m. after a dump truck and a box truck collided.

The Iowa State Patrol says 46-year-old Wayne Imbus of Dubuque was headed west in a box truck on Dunkerton Road and failed to yield to a dump truck driven by 76-year-old Paul Wagner of Waterloo who was headed south on Wagner Road.

The two trucks crashed and ended up in a ditch.

Wagner and Imbus were both taken to Allen Hospital in Waterloo. Their conditions have not been released.

Imbus was ticketed for failure to yield.
