CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

A Facebook post led the culprit of a case of vandalism to come forward and pay for the damage done to a downtown Cedar Falls business on Thursday.

According to a Facebook post made by the owners of Here's What's Poppin' in Cedar Falls, whoever was responsible for a broken window that happened overnight Wednesday admitted fault and paid for the damage done.

"I am happy to say the person responsible for the damage to our building has come forward and paid for the damage," the business wrote on Facebook on Thursday. "We all have made mistakes, and I feel they have taken full responsibility at a very high cost."

The post came after the business owners had said they would "be obtaining video from several places downtown that will have the footage."
