A 74-year-old Iowa man is found guilty of sexual abusing an eight-year-old girl and inappropriately touching an eight-year-old boy.  Jurors convicting John Lusk, of Floyd, on charges of second-degree abuse and indecent contact with a child.

Prosecutors say Lusk sexually abused the girl about three years ago while she was staying overnight at his home.  They say he inappropriately touched the boy in 2014.

Lusk is a former volunteer with the Charles City Foster Grandparent Program, which works with kids at local schools and day cares.  According to a local newspaper, these allegations were not connected to the program,

Lusk will be on trial May 26 in Sioux City to face three additional counts of second-degree sexual abuse.
