Students at the University of Iowa were "Dodging for Dreams."

About 150 students participated in the 4th annual charity dodgeball tournament at Kinnick Stadium, for the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Dance Marathon.

There were six players and about 25 teams ducking and dodging for the dodgeball tournament organized S.T.A.T., Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow.

"Dance Marathon is huge and they have their big event every year too. We want to help as much as we can, so just the $1,500 just goes toward whoever that can take it, so any family that can take it," said S.T.A.T. member Jordan Brass. " I just heard a story today that Dance Marathon was able to donate a ton of money to take a family on a trip."

There were prizes and giveaways.

The event was able to collect $1500 and all the proceeds go directly to the dance marathon.
