CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

A vigil for Nepal is planned for tonight at 8 p.m., April 29, at Coe College.  It will be outside the Stewart Memorial Library on the main campus.

Coe College currently has five Nepali students on campus, and has a long history of serving Nepali students.  Participants will light candles and listen to speakers talk about the earthquake, which killed thousands.  A reception in Upper Gage Memorial Union, will be after the vigil.

Nepali students will be raising money on campus to support relief efforts.  Coe's International Club, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, along with the Chaplain's Office, will be sponsoring the event.
