ISU Police receive bomb threat, issue all-clear

AMES (KWWL) - Iowa State University Police have completed their search of the Durham Center after a bomb threat was reported.

At approximately 12:30 a.m. Monday morning, the Iowa State University Police Department received an 11-minute phone call from an unidentified individual that said there was a bomb in Durham Center.

Officers went to the location to conduct a thorough search, but nothing suspicious was located. The building will reopen at 6:30 a.m. as scheduled.

Police say the Durham Center was closed before the call was received and not accessible to the public at the time.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Iowa State University as soon as possible by calling (515) 294-4428.
