WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Waterloo police officers are investigating multiple reports of gunfire in the city.

Tuesday, officers responded to Center Street for a report of shots fired. Officers did find evidence of bullets at the scene. Nobody was injured and they're still investigating possible damage. The original call was for bullets hitting a home.

This came not long after shots were fired near Burton Avenue and Newton Street. A house on Newton was hit by bullets -- the same house that was shot at Friday night. No injuries reported during this call, either.

Officers say they're not sure if the two calls are related. There have been no arrests.
