CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Tuesday the Cedar Rapids City Council has to decide what to do about several of the city's speed cameras.

The most debated cameras are those on Interstate 380. The city has insisted the cameras are there for safety.

The Iowa Department of Transportation wants two sets of cameras on I-380 to move and the other two to come down by the end of the week.

However, the Cedar Rapids Police Department is recommending the city appeal. The council will vote at its meeting at noon
