IOWA CITY (KWWL) - A fraternity is returning to the University of Iowa campus after being absent for a few years.

The UI chapter of Delta Upsilon shut down after several members were arrested and charged with dealing drugs from the fraternity house.  The members were arrested in December 2007, and DU International reprimanded the Iowa City chapter the next month after an investigation showed members violated fraternity and university policies.

Delta Upsilon returned to the University of Iowa as a colony in 2012.  Now, the fraternity's charter will be returned this Saturday in a public ceremony, and will initiate 58 new members.

Delta Upsilon is a non-secret, non-hazing fraternity, and people are invited to attend the event, including the initiation ritual.
