WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (KWWL) -

Calvin Matthews gave up just one run in 6 innings pitched as Iowa knocked off Purdue 4-1 on Sunday afternoon. The win completed the weekend sweep and moved Iowa to 6-0 in the Big Ten, the best start in program history.

Matthews held a shut-out through 5 innings before giving up a solo home run to Kyle Wood for the Boilermakers' lone run.

At the plate, Tyler Peyton drove in a pair of runs, going 2 for 4 on the day. Nick Roscetti scored once and knocked in a run in the victory.

The Hawkeyes return home for a non-conference tilt with Milwaukee on Wednesday.
