CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

The University of Northern Iowa's Student Disability Services will host a workshop to help high school students prepare for life after graduation.

The workshop will help introduce students to how their lives will change after high school, and see what living on a college campus may be like.

"The transition from high school to college can be difficult for any student," said Ashley Brickley, student disability services coordinator. "Students with disabilities are no exception, but in addition to the change in academics, these students must also understand their new rights and responsibilities as adults with disabilities in order to receive the accommodations and educational support they may need to be successful."

The workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
