Police say 37-year-old Brian Lavenz was driving the car involved in Tuesday's low-speed chase.

According to police, Lavenz arrived at 918 9th St. where the Tri-County Drug Task Force was executing a search warrant.

Lavenz then drove away from the house as officers tried to stop him.

Police say he refused to stop, and officers had to use stop sticks to flatten his tires.

Lavenz continued to resist arrest and a taser was deployed.

He was taken into custody and transported to Allen Hospital, as police suspected he ingested narcotics.

He remains at Allen Hospital and is awaiting charges.
