Wartburg sweeps Luther for 19th win in last 20 games

WAVERLY (KWWL) -

 The Wartburg baseball team continued their tear taking 2 games from Luther on Tuesday afternoon. The Knights have won 19 of their last 20 games.

Senior Jackson Litterer went 4-4 in the opener, knocking in a pair of runs. On the mound, Taylor Gilson and Gavin Nadermann combined for an 8 hit shutout as the Knights knocked off the Norse 5-0.

Robbie Anstoetter drove in the go-ahead run with a base hit to center in the 7th inning of the nightcap. Nadermann closed the door picking up the save in the 9th of an 8-6 win.
