SEATTLE (KWWL) -

UNI's defense just showed up a little too late. Louisville's Terry Rozier was on fire for about the first 30 minutes, as the 5th seeded Cardinals stopped the 4th seeded Panthers 66 to 53.

Rozier finished with 25 in the game on 8 of 13 shooting. The Cardinals shot better than 50% from the floor in the first half before cooling off in the second.

Seth Tuttle led the way for UNI with 12 points in his final game. Nate Buss added 11 in his finale, all scored in the second half.

The Panthers and Cardinals played about even for the first 12 minutes, but Louisville took control on a 19-11 run over the final 8 minutes of the half. UNI never managed to get the deficit below 6 in the final 20 minutes.

The loss closes out a season that saw the Panthers win 31 games, finish 2nd in the Missouri Valley Conference, while capturing an MVC tournament title.
