SEATTLE (KWWL) -

The UNI Panthers are favored by 2.5 points over the Louisville Cardinals in the round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament.  Here's what they need to do to ensure they'll move onto the next round.

First off, the Panthers need to take care of the ball.  Louisville is a team known for pressuring the ball, and they'll try to get UNI off balance.  The Cardinals rank 16th in the nation forcing 8.3 steals per game.  They also rank 22nd in the nation in scoring defense, holding their opponents to  59.5 points per game.

On the other side of the ball, the Panthers need to disrupt the Louisville shooters with the same defense we've seen all year.  The Panthers rank fourth in the nation in scoring defense, holding their opponents to just over 54 points per game.  Cardinals Head Coach Rick Pitino said this week that his team has been inconsistent shooting the ball all year.  If the Panthers can get the Cardinal shooters off-balance, it'll bode well for UNI.

Finally, the Panthers need to be the team they've been all year.  This is a team with five seniors and three juniors, and they're not easily frazzled.  They play selfless basketball and run things through the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year, Seth Tuttle.  If they can stay calm in the face of the pressure they'll see tonight both from Louisville's defense and from the national spotlight, this Panther team will dance their way to a fourth round matchup with the N.C. State Wolfpack.
