BETHLEHEM, Penn. (AP) -

A report released today shows the Hawkeye, Cyclone and Panther wrestling programs are all in the top 10 for attendance during the 2014-15 season.

According to the report released by Roby Publishing released, Iowa led the nation in attendance for the ninth straight season, averaging 8,538 fans per dual. A total of 55,390 fans attended seven home events, including the Iowa City Duals, during the 2014-15 season. This was the seventh straight season the Hawkeyes averaged at least 8,000.

Roby Publishing only counts duals against Division I opponents toward average attendance. The NWCA National Duals, which is considered a neutral site event, are not included in Iowa's totals.

Iowa was a factor in all three of the highest attended duals this past season. Penn State saw their largest crowd of the season, 15,967, when they hosted Iowa on February 8. Minnesota drew 13,620 fans to their home meet against Iowa on January 30. Iowa had the third biggest attendance when 11,882 fans packed into Carver-Hawkeye Arena on November 29 to watch the dual against Iowa State.

Iowa State ranked seventh. The Cyclones averaged 2,369 fans per dual. They had a total of 14,216 fans for the season. The highest attendance was on February 15 when they hosted UNI.

UNI ranked eighth on the list with an average of 1,946 fans. A total of 9,729 fans attended duals during the season. The season high came on January 16 when the Panthers hosted Virginia Tech. 2,100 fans attended that dual.
