IOWA CITY (KWWL) - Saturday athletes of all ages got the chance to show off their skills at the Mid-Winter Tournament for Special Olympics.

Dance and basketball -- just two of the events bringing in teams from across the state to Iowa City.

Athletes like Peggy Wilson don't let their disabilities stop them. She's blind but can dribble a basketball 175 times in a minute!

"I got my skills from the man upstairs and a dear friend, Roger Conway," said Wilson.

More than 1,000 athletes and Unified Sports Partners are taking part in the Mid-Winter Tournament.
