WATERLOO (KWWL) - Police say a Waterloo man caused damage to a West Parker Street house after speeding through town trying to elude police.

Undray Jermaine Reed, 39, of Waterloo, was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with felony eluding, third-offense possession of a controlled substance, interference with official acts and driving while license revoked, among other charges, according to the Waterloo Police Department.

According to police, an officer attempted to stop Reed's vehicle for having no license plates in the area of Conger and Fairview streets.

Reed then took off, according to police, and the residential chase reached speeds of more than 60 miles per hour, according to police.

Police say when Reed attempted to turn onto Reed Street from West Parker, he lost control of his vehicle, and it crashed into 154 West Parker Street.

Police say they then observed Reed throwing items from the car. Police say they later recovered a baggie of methamphetamine and a smoking pipe.

It's not clear how much damage was done to 154 West Parker Street, but police say there was damage.
