WEBSTER CITY (KWWL) - Day two of testimony is underway in the murder trial of Casey Frederiksen, accused of sexually assaulting and killing 5-year-old Evelyn Miller.

The prosecution says Frederiksen had the motive to kill Evelyn.

They say Frederiksen sexual abused Evelyn the night she went missing. She was going to see her father the next day and Frederiksen didn't want her father to see her after he sexually abused her.

The first person on the stand Wednesday was Floyd County Chief Deputy Jeff Crooks. Crooks had only been with the department for a short time before Evelyn went missing.

When he arrived to the apartment complex where Evelyn lived with her mother, he was assigned to drive around and look for her.

He was eventually one of the first members of law enforcement to find Evelyn's body in the Cedar River.

Next, jurors were shown aerial shots of video taken by helicopter near the Cedar River where Evelyn's body was eventually found.

Floyd County Sheriff Rick Lynch then took the stand. He described the articles of clothing Evelyn Miller had on when she was found in the Cedar River.

Former DCI agent Jack Seward next took the stand. He interviewed Casey FFrederiksenback in 2005.

Seward told jurors he asked Frederiksen what his biggest concern was. He said, "that she was hurt or dying somewhere."

Next up: FBI agent Jennifer Sullivan. She interviewed Frederiksen in 2007.

Sullivan told jurors that Frederiksen told her he would get sexually aroused when he changed Evelyn's diapers, but never acted on it. She also said he told her that Randy Patrie took Evelyn.

Former DCI agent Mike Morris next took the stand. He examined the hard drive taken from Frederiksen's apartment.

Morris said he found child porn on Frederiksen's hard drive. The ages of the children depicted ranged from four to seven years old.

During cross examination, Morris says there were also family photos with Evelyn in them on Frederiksen's computer.
