The University of Northern Iowa and Iowa State men's basketball teams didn't fare well last week, or in the latest Associated Press Top 25 ranking.

The UNI Panthers dropped one spot to No. 11 after a split last week -- winning at home against Evansville but losing on the road to Wichita State. The Shockers jumped to No. 8 with the win and took the Missouri Valley Conference title.

UNI (27-3, 16-2 MVC) is now done with their season, though their AP ranking could still change. They're ranked second, behind Wichita State, in the MVC tournament starting Friday.

The Iowa State Cyclones lost their two games last week, including a tough, 1-point loss against Kansas State on Saturday, dropping them from No. 12 to No. 17 in the AP Top 25.

The Cyclones (20-8, 10-6 Big 12) play No. 15 Oklahoma at home on Monday, followed by a road game at TCU on Saturday to round out their regular season. They're currently fifth in the Big 12.
