32nd Annual Maple Syrup Festival

Posted: Updated:

Anyone like maple syrup?

Indian Creek Nature Center's signature event, The Maple Syrup Festival will be on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22, 2015.

The festival, which allows visitors the opportunity to taste fresh, real maple syrup made on site, will run from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day.

Traditionally, the Festival has been held the first full weekend in March. “The new dates fall toward the end of maple syruping season instead of the beginning,” said John Myers, ICNC Executive Director. “Many maple syrup festivals held in places like Vermont are at the end of the season, to celebrate the harvest. And with a bit of luck, the weather will be warmer, too.”

Tickets are available in advance at www.indiancreeknaturecenter.org or by calling 319-362-0664.
