Gladbrook-Reinbeck rolls past West Central in to 1A state tournament

INDEPENDENCE (KWWL) -

 The wait is over for the Rebels. Top ranked Gladbrook-Reinbeck rolled by West Central in to the boys' class 1A stater tournament for the first time with a 73-49 win.

After falling behind 12-10 after 1 quarter, the Rebels put the game away in the second, outscoring the Blue Devils 25-7.

Camden Kickbush led the way with 21 points. Zach Pierce added 16 with 12 boards.

Ethan Steinbronn scored 24 for West Central.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck will take the top seed in to the state tournament and open against Nodaway Valley.
