WATERLOO (KWWL) -

The daughter of a well known area funeral director is on a mission to find out who robbed and assaulted her father.

It happened Friday night after Aaron Sanders of Sanders Funeral Service in Waterloo was giving someone a ride home.

"The money that they took, I hope they save it because they're going to need it for commissary," said Kim Sanders, the victim's daughter.

Sanders says her father was giving a someone a ride home when he was approached by two men in bandannas.

"They pushed him to the ground at gunpoint. They shoved the gun in his mouth and they took items from him and threatened his life," said Sanders.

Sanders Funeral Service has been around for more than twenty years. Kim Sanders says her dad has helped so many people, she doesn't understand why anyone would do this to him."

"These young men out here and young women it seems like they have no heart. They have no fear," said Sanders.

Sanders feels like he set up. She says they're not sure who did it, but hope someone will provide some information for their arrests.

"You can run, but you can't hide. We will find you," said Sanders.
