Davenport man sentenced for weapons violation

Posted: Updated:

A Davenport man has been sentenced to federal prison on weapons charges.

Terrell Devon Lillybridge, 33, was sentenced to 46 months in prison, after pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Lillybridge was also ordered to serve 3 years of supervised release following imprisonment, and pay $100 towards the Crime Victims Fund.

The sentencing stems from a traffic stop in Davenport June 27, 2014.

They say Lillybridge did not stop in response to the officer's visual indications to stop.

Officers later located Lillybridge a short distance away.

After Lillybridge got out of the driver's side of the vehicle, two officers approached and saw him drop a small baggie containing what was later determined to be marijuana.

After being taken into custody, officers found a loaded handgun in his right front pocket.

He had been convicted on a felony charge in 2007.
