UPDATE WITH NAMES: 3 dead, 4 injured in Ft. Dodge fire

FT. DODGE (KWWL) - Three people are dead and four others injured after a fire at a Fort Dodge home Sunday afternoon.According to the Fort Dodge Fire Department, it happened in the 700 block of Fourth Avenue around 12:45 p.m. Sunday.

Fire crews say four people inside the two-story home were able to escape on their own.

Three of the four were flown to a hospital with burn injuries.

Fire Chief Kent Hulett says a woman, an infant and a toddler were unable to make it out of the house.

The three victims have been identified as 25-year-old Amy Devlin, 5-year-old Joseph Kennedy, and six-month-old Bryce Devlin, the son of Amy Devlin.

The Fort Dodge Fire Department and the State Fire Marshal's Office are investigating what caused the fire. The fire does not appear to be of suspicious nature.
