Don Bosco started and finished strong to open 1A competition -at 106 - Gable Fox pinned Justin Severson of West Lyon to move on - while Zach Hickson did the same at 195 for his 100th win - 4 Dons stayed alive in the upper bracket.

South Winn kept 2 alive - including Ryan Hagemann who picked up a tech fall at 170 -Blake Meyer of Sumner-Fredericksburg also tallied a tech fall at 145 - 3 Cougars advanced in the top bracket -AGWSR's Clay Meinders stayed perfect with a fall at 220 - while Clarksville's Skyler Popham moved on defeating Gatlin Keehner of MFL-MarMac -and DNH went 2 for 2 on Thursday - Kody Kugel hit a 5 point move in the final 10 seconds to rally past Saint Edmonds Ryan Szalat for a 3 point win at 120.

Alburnett's leading the team race going 8 for 10 - that included a major decision for Hunter Washburn at 132 -and a pair of defending champs are still going - Carter Happel of Lisbon picked up a pin at 138 -while Maquoketa Valley's Ryan Parmely needed just 48 seconds to dispatch Southeast Warren's Tate Vandyne at 220.
